Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of ZiRan. By creating or using an account, you agree to these terms and related policy documents.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account unless prohibited by law.
Account modes may include direct learner, teacher-managed student, and parent-managed child. Certain features can be limited until required governance or consent-state requirements are satisfied.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.
- Attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineering, or disruption of system operations.
- Upload content that infringes rights or violates applicable law.
- Use elevated roles outside legitimate educational, support, or administration workflows.
3. Memberships, Billing, and Renewals
Access to premium features depends on plan entitlement and active membership status. Payment and subscription processing may be handled by third-party providers. Provider terms, payment rules, and refund rights may apply based on jurisdiction and purchase channel.
4. Educational and Child-Managed Use
Teachers, guardians, and administrators are responsible for lawful operation of managed account workflows, including consent handling, assignment practices, and data request routing where applicable.
For child-managed account modes, access may be restricted until required consent state is satisfied.
5. Content and Intellectual Property
The service, including software, interface, and non-user content, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain rights to content you lawfully submit, and grant the limited rights needed for service operation.
6. Service Changes and Availability
We may add, modify, or retire features over time. We strive for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Planned and emergency maintenance may affect access.
7. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for material violations, abuse, or security risk. You may close your account subject to legal and operational retention obligations.
8. Disclaimers and Liability
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes non-waivable rights under applicable consumer protection law.
To the extent permitted by law, indirect or consequential damages are excluded, and aggregate liability is limited to amounts paid for applicable paid services in the period defined by local law.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
Personal data handling is described in the Privacy Policy. Cookie and similar technology usage is described in the Cookie Policy.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
Governing law, venue, and dispute-resolution terms should be configured for your operating jurisdiction and commercial model.
11. Updates to These Terms
We may update these terms to reflect legal, technical, or product changes. Material updates will be posted with a revised "Last updated" date.
12. Contact
For legal, subscription, or policy questions, use the designated support or legal contact process in your deployment environment.
13. Legal Review Notice
This terms template supports product readiness and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel for your specific jurisdictions, pricing model, and deployment obligations.
